Universal English has built a solid reputation on student classroom experience and teaching excellence. We would love to hear from teachers with IELTS, ESL, EAP, FCE, CAE and GE teaching experience (or a keen desire to be mentored into the role) who feel they can add value to our growing English Department and would like to develop as an individual.

Evening class (5:00pm-9:15pm, Monday - Friday)
Our English Department ideally requires experienced teachers, but more importantly; passionate and energetic teachers. We have classrooms with inbuilt 80 inch screens interactive LEDs to assist teachers deliver dynamic lessons.

Motivated teachers with outgoing personalities who can create vibrant and engaging lessons will fit in very comfortably in our talented teaching team. Our private roof top garden and BBQ area is available for outdoor lessons and class parties and we often run engaging and thought provoking PD sessions too.

We have excellent nationality mix in our classes with adult students from Europe, Asia and South America.

The hourly rate varies depending on qualifications and teaching experience from approximately $52 to $70 an hour and is based on the Educational Services (Post Secondary Education) Award.
